A flash back to July this morning, with Jennifer and Ian’s Owen House Barn Summer wedding. It seems like a fitting time to share it I think, it’s starting to feel like Spring at last (despite the rain today), the flowers are coming out, and both of those things make me VERY happy indeed. As did photographing this wedding day.
My day began with preparations over in the cottage at Owen House. Jennifer had chosen all seven of her closest friends as bridesmaids, and it was definitely a case of the more the merrier. They were a brilliant group of women to hang out with for the day, and I’m guessing there’s never a dull moment when this lot get together. It was a pretty hilarious morning watching them all get ready together in the smallest room in the house. Once everyone was ready we made our way over to the wedding barn, where a very emotional Ian was waiting patiently with his best men.
Following a beautiful ceremony with plenty of tears (from Ian, as predicted by Jennifer), everyone made their way out into the glorious sunshine for drinks, limbo, and celebrations. Lots of celebrations. I had so much fun with this lot, from the group shots, through the dancing, they had me in stitches. A brilliant day spent with such a good crowd of people.
