Brooke and Ed held their country house wedding at The Rectory in Malmesbury back in September. The Cotswolds made for the most beautiful of settings, and Brooke and Ed fitted in perfectly. Both coming from creative backgrounds, they had a serious eye for design when creating the wedding they wanted. Both played a big part in making and designing the look of the day. There was lots of rose gold and copper touches (in honour of Brookes grandma’s rose gold wedding ring), some datschund loving as their babies couldn’t be there on the day, lots of wonderful creations from the super talentedThings By Laura and so many luscious flowers and greenery bursting everywhere. The smell coming from all the ecalypus was incredible. It may have rained constantly outside the entire day, but inside was bursting with colour and warmth.
Brooke looked every inch the stunning English rose bride in her custome design Charlie Brear dress, it couldn’t have suited her more perfectly. Ed clearly agreed too, as he smiled his way throughout the ceremony.
Once the ceremony finished, everyone got comfortable in the cozy rooms of the country house. Drinking cocktails, filling the place with laughter, and generally having a fantastic time. A perfect wedding day in my eyes.
I have had an incredible wedding season this year, I’m feeling very lucky right now.
