I met up with Jess and Ash a few weeks ago in the beautiful setting of Delamere Forest to take some portraits ahead of their wedding happening in January 2016. Their wedding will be the first of the year and I’m excited about it already.
Autumn was just about clinging on over at Delamere and the forest still looked beautiful, so we headed off for a bit of an explore. The leaves are just beautiful at this time of year, even on a pretty dark and dull Sunday. We timed things perfectly with the weather too, whilst the sun might not have been out the rain stayed off right until the very end as we went back to our cars. Thank you weather.
It’s always so nice to spend some time with my couples before the wedding itself. It definitely helps both me and them to get to know each other a little better, after all I will photographing one of the most important days of the lives. If you’re feeling a little nervous about the whole photography part of your wedding day then perhaps have a little think about whether a shoot beforehand would benefit you both. My couples always come away telling me how much more relaxed they feel, some are even surprised by just how quickly they forgot I was there… this is music to my ears.
