Here’s a beauty of a Styal Lodge Summer wedding for you to feast your eyes on. The sun shone, the gardens looked beautiful (and smelt even better),the people looked dapper, the partying rocked, and the dancing was second to none.
Georgina and Chris married at St Anne’s Church in Cheadle Hulme followed by their reception over at Styal Lodge, a perfect spot for their garden themed wedding. As keen gardeners they were keen incorporate their love for flora and fauna into their wedding day. They brought in lots of homegrown plants from Chris’ Mum which added some lovely finishing touches to the decor. Once sun came down we headed off on the golf buggy (I’ll never tire of that!) to find some spots for portraits in the evening light. Georgina wasn’t afraid to get right on in there amongst all the brambles just to get to the right spot, what a trooper.
When we had previously met for their pre-shoot they had told me the plans they had for the first dance and had been practicing hard to get the routine right. Once first dance time came there was a look of fear on both of their faces, no need to worry though as they completely nailed it!
A beautiful super relaxed day with the nicest of couples… ahh Summer, you have been very kind to me.
